Corris

A village about 6 miles N. of Machynlleth, and on the “toy” railway to "Aberllefenni. Although dependent upon the nearby slate quarries, Corris is set in unspoiled scenery, and abounds in pleasant walks. The toy railway up the Vale provides a most charming trip. The carriages have seats set sideways so that travellers have a clear view of the ever-changing landscape.
