A picturesque little resort near the sea on the west coast of the Lleyn peninsula, some 7 miles north-west of Pwllheli. It has a good sandy beach, offering safe bathing and boating. There is a golf course nearby. The surrounding country is hilly, and dominated by the triple peak of Yr Fill, the Rivals, to the north.
