This magnificent scenic pass between Beddgelert and Tremadoc is famous for its sheer cliffs rising to 800 feet above the river Glaslyn. On the cliff sides stunted pine trees cling precariously, to give the pass a Swiss appearance. The view from Pont Aberglaslyn is one of the most outstanding in Wales.
