Llanddwywe
This is a little village 5 miles N. of Barmouth on the Harlech road. The church has an Inigo Jones monument to the Vaughans of Cors-y-Gedol. Near the entrance to the latter mansion - not the hotel in Barmouth - is Coytan Arthur, or Arthur's Quoit, a huge cromlech said to have been hurled by King Arthur from the top of Moelfre. You can still see his fingerprints on the cromlech - or so they say!
